Founding customer program
The first 100 lock it forever
The first 100 artists to sign up for goldenhour lock in their original price for the lifetime of their account. No auto-bumps, no retro-active rate hikes. The honest deal for the early-believer cohort.
What you get
Lifetime price lock
The rate you sign up at stays your rate. When standard pricing rises, you keep yours.
Founder access
Direct line to the founder for feedback, feature requests, and operational support during the first year.
Founding badge
A small acknowledgement on your account profile. Not shown to clients; visible to you + future goldenhour support agents.
The honest framing
Why we offer it
The first 100 customers of a SaaS startup are taking a real risk on a product that’s still proving itself. Founding pricing acknowledges that + locks in a relationship where the early-believer cohort is meaningfully better off than the late- adopter cohort. It also gives us a real ceiling to defend: we know exactly how many price-locked accounts can exist + price standard accordingly.
100 is a deliberate cap, not a marketing trick. We don’t auto-extend it; when it hits zero, it hits zero. The counter on /pricing is live.
What you don’t get
Honest about the not-the-deal
- Founding members don’t get free features : paid tiers (when we eventually launch them) cost the same for founding as for new accounts. The lock is on the base subscription, not on add-ons.
- No equity, no revenue share, no special legal arrangement. Founding pricing is purely a price lock: straightforward + sustainable.
- Founding members do not get priority access to new features (we ship to all customers at once), but you DO get the founder-access feedback channel during the first 12 months.
FAQ
- What is the founding-customer program?
- The first 100 artists to sign up for goldenhour lock in their original price for the lifetime of their account. We don't auto-bump the rate when standard pricing changes; founding members keep what they signed up with.
- How many spots are left?
- Check the live counter on the /pricing page. The number you see is the real remaining count, queried from the database in real time. When it hits zero, standard pricing kicks in for new signups.
- Can I lose my founding-member status?
- Only by canceling. If you let your subscription lapse, the founding-member flag is preserved on your account for re-activation within 60 days; after that, re-signups go on standard pricing. We never revoke founding-member status as a punitive action: it's structural, not behavioral.
- Is the founding price really locked forever?
- Yes. The price you signed up at is stored on your account row, and the billing job reads that field rather than the current public rate. The product can change, features can be added or sunset, but your subscription cost stays the same number unless you proactively change tiers.
