The link that actually converts
Your Instagram bio link is the most-clicked URL in your entire marketing stack. For most solo artists it’s pointing at a generic Linktree shell or a half-built website: losing 30-50% of warm traffic on a needless extra tap. Three patterns to fix it.
Pattern 1 (recommended)
Direct booking-link redirect
The cleanest setup. Point your bio link at goldenhour’s stable redirect URL. We forward to your current canonical booking URL, which means:
- The link never breaks when you switch from
your-slug.goldenhourhq.comto your own custom domain. - Append
?utm_source=instagramfor accurate attribution in your reports. - Use a service-preselect link to point at a specific service ("Book a bridal tan"):

Linktree (or Beacons / Linkin.bio): booking as row 1
If you already have a Linktree because you genuinely have multiple destinations (newsletter, portfolio, shop), keep it: but put your goldenhour booking row at the top, with a distinctive accent color, and clear copy: “Book an appointment” (not “Website” or “Click here”).

Pattern 3
IG Stories QR sticker
Stories converts higher than feed posts but the swipe-up link is gone. Workaround: drop a QR code linking to your booking page right onto the Story image. Viewers scan with their phone’s second device or screenshot + QR-scan.

Caption pattern
Tell people the link exists
The single biggest IG-conversion mistake is not telling people there’s a bio link to tap. Pattern your captions:
“Ready for that bridal glow? Book through the link in my bio: slots fill up 6-8 weeks ahead.”
Direct mention of “link in bio” + constraint signal (“slots fill up”) + future-paced reward (“bridal glow”).
