The AI front desk

An AI receptionist that can actually book, reschedule, and cancel for your clients, working your real calendar with clear guardrails. Here is what it does, how to turn it on, and how it stays safe. For the overview, see the AI front desk page.

What it does

It handles the front-desk back-and-forth

When a client texts your business number or opens the chat on your booking page, the AI front desk can book a new appointment, reschedule or cancel an existing one, and answer the everyday questions (what is open this week, what do I have coming up, how do deposits work). It works over SMS and over the web chat on your own booking page.

Turning it on

Off by default, on in Settings

It ships switched off. Go to Settings, then AI, and turn on the AI receptionist first, then the front-desk booking. You can turn either one off just as fast. It stays off entirely in HIPAA mode. When it is on, texts to your number and chats on your booking page are handled automatically until you take over.

Guardrails

It books your real calendar, on the record

Before every booking it re-checks that day's live availability and takes only a slot that is genuinely open, so it cannot invent a time or double-book. A service with a deposit books as a hold plus a short Stripe checkout link; the slot releases if it is not paid and confirms the moment it is. Every action is written to your audit log. It works inside tight limits and steps back rather than guess.

Taking over

It hands off to you when it should

For a complaint, anything sensitive, or whenever it is unsure, it hands the conversation to you with a notification and tells the client you will follow up personally. You are always one tap away from the thread, and turning the feature off stops it immediately.

Early access

We are rolling it out carefully

This is early access. We are turning it on studio by studio while we watch every booking it makes. If you want it on your line, turn it on in Settings, or tell us and we will help you go live.
